Upload a cycling course

Prepare the file

Use a GPX file containing the cycling course you intend to analyse. A useful route includes track points and elevation. Poor or missing elevation can limit climb detection and pacing estimates. The current race-analysis workflow is for cycling.

Load and inspect

1. Open Race Analysis and use the Upload view.
2. Drop the GPX into the course area or use the file picker.
3. Check the displayed route information, then open the analysis.
4. Inspect the map, elevation profile and detected segments before relying on estimates.

If the file does not work

• Check that it is a GPX track rather than an image, PDF or link to a route.
• Export the course again from its source if track points are missing or invalid.
• Check that the distance and elevation describe the intended route.
• Loading a course is separate from saving an analysis to your account.
