Source priorities & data categories
Choose which data to use when multiple providers overlap.
1 min readOpen in Peaklab
Set your preferred sources
- Open Integrations and locate the source-priority controls.
- Choose the data category you want to manage.
- Move your preferred provider up using the ordering controls.
- Review the resulting readings after the data updates.
Enable only the categories you need
Open a connected provider’s settings to enable or disable its available categories, such as workouts, sleep or recovery. Disabled categories are excluded from the combined view and the context used by coaching and MCP.
Priorities resolve overlapping information; they do not manufacture readings that a provider never recorded. Activities reported by more than one supported source are combined where recognised as the same effort.
When two numbers disagree
- Check date, time zone and whether both providers have finished syncing.
- Check the source priority for that specific metric, not just your preferred activity app.
- Provider-native recovery scores can differ from Peaklab’s own readiness view; they are not interchangeable.
