Peaklab vs TrainingPeaks
TrainingPeaks is the standard training log for athletes who work with a human coach or buy a ready-made plan. Peaklab is for athletes who coach themselves: it reads your training and your recovery, then an AI coach writes the plan and keeps it adapted.

Where Peaklab is different
A plan that is written for you
In TrainingPeaks the calendar is empty until you or a coach fill it. In Peaklab you describe your goal races, sports, weekly hours and constraints, and the coach builds structured sessions in your zones. It picks from a library of workout families and dosages, then reviews the next block every week.
Recovery that actually changes the day
Fitness and fatigue curves estimate how tired you should be. Peaklab also reads how you slept and what your HRV did, from the device you trust for it. When readiness drops, near term sessions get lighter; when there is not enough data, Peaklab says so instead of guessing.
Ask why
Every session has a purpose you can question. Ask the coach why Thursday is a threshold day, move it around a work trip, or tell it about a sore knee. It remembers constraints you have told it.
Using both
You can keep both. If your activities already flow through intervals.icu, Peaklab reads them from there, and the coach plan can be pushed to intervals.icu or Wahoo so it reaches your head unit.
Questions
Does Peaklab show CTL, ATL and form?
Yes. The dashboard includes a training load chart with fitness, fatigue and form, along with power curves and FTP history. The difference is that you do not have to read them to get a plan: the coach does that for you.
Can I import my TrainingPeaks history?
Not directly yet: TrainingPeaks is listed as coming soon. If your devices sync to intervals.icu, connecting it brings your history into Peaklab.
Is Peaklab a replacement for a human coach on TrainingPeaks?
Not for everyone. A coach who knows you well brings judgement Peaklab cannot. Peaklab is for athletes who would otherwise plan alone, at a fraction of the price.
